Cowboys WRs coach Jimmy Robinson talked up Dez Bryant's offseason on Saturday.
"He's doing great," Robinson said. "The teaching sessions got off to a good start. He's out here working really, really hard to get better. It's got to make a difference." This is Bryant's first full offseason since being the No. 24 pick of the 2010 draft. Coming off a 63/928/9 sophomore campaign, Bryant could be ready to explode as a third-year pro.

Dez Bryant and Andre Johnson are reportedly among the players who are restructuring their contracts to free up salary cap space.
Bryant converted a $1.435 million roster bonus to a pro-rated signing bonus. Johnson converted his $6.5 million base salary to a bonus spread over multiple years. The Cowboys are expected to be aggressive in free agency. The Texans are freeing up money to sign their own free agents.

Cowboys owner Jerry Jones says he never talked to Dez Bryant about his January altercation at a Miami nightclub.
"It was not a significant enough thing to me ... I just didn't have the time and didn't want to make the emphasis with him," Jones said. Bryant was not charged with a crime following the incident. Bryant's only ongoing off-the-field issue is a December lawsuit brought by a New York "micro-finance company" that alleges Bryant failed to repay more than half of a $100,000 loan.

NFL Network analyst Michael Irvin believes Dez Bryant still has the potential to be the best wide receiver in the league.
"I thought Dez made great strides this year on the football field," said Irvin. "He has a lot of room to continue to grow, but he made great strides. When Dez really locks it all in, understands it, Dez will be the best receiver in the NFL." Irvin concedes that Bryant must hone in his route running and conditioning to fulfill his potential.

Cowboys rookie WR Danny Coale will undergo surgery to repair a broken bone in his left foot.
Per NFL Network's Ian Rapoport, it's a broken fifth metatarsal that should keep Coale out a month. The Cowboys hope to have Coale on the field early in training camp, but the missed practice time will set the fifth-rounder back in his competition for the third receiver role. Andre Holmes, Kevin Ogletree, Dwayne Harris, and undrafted rookie Tim Benford are also vying for the job.

Cowboys WR Raymond Radway (broken leg) resumed running four weeks ago, but remains "hesitant cutting."
Radway was making a strong push for a roster spot last season before breaking his leg in the Cowboys' preseason finale. He expects to participate in OTAs. Radway is technically in the mix with Kevin Ogletree, Dwayne Harris and Andre Holmes to replace Laurent Robinson as the Cowboys' third receiver, but it's unlikely Dallas is done making moves at wideout.
