A.J. Green said his biggest goal this offseason is to cut down on his drops.
Last year, Green was officially credited with seven drops and Pro Football Focus hit him with 10. He still ranked seventh in receptions (97), tenth in yards (1,351) and fourth in receiving touchdowns (11). Green has spent the past few months working out with the likes of Calvin Johnson and Demaryius Thomas in Atlanta.

Andy Dalton expressed regret over not getting A.J. Green involved more in Saturday's Wild Card loss to the Texans.
Green finished with five catches on 11 targets, but none of those targets came in the first half. "Looking back, maybe we should have gone to A.J. a lot more," Dalton said. "He's so talented. He needs to get his catches." Green tied for fifth in the NFL in targets this regular season with 164. He's a lock to be the focal point of the Bengals' offense in 2013.

A.J. Green caught five balls for 80 yards in the Bengals' Wild Card Round loss to the Texans.
Green wasn't targeted once in the first half while Jermaine Gresham turned a team-high four first-half targets into one yard and three dropped passes. It was the first half of Green's career in which he was not targeted. Andy Dalton finally found Green for a 41-yard bomb in the third quarter, exposing Texans CB Johnathan Joseph in single coverage to set up a field goal. Later in the third, Green appeared to quit on a route and the pass was easily picked by Joseph. Dalton simply missed an open Green for what could've been the game-winning touchdown late in the fourth quarter. Green finished the regular season as the No. 4 overall fantasy receiver. He turns 24 before next season, and we like his chances of staying in the same fantasy vicinity in 2013.

A.J. Green caught two passes for 26 yards in his one half of action against the Ravens in Week 17.
Green caught both of his targets, but he wasn't thrown to until the final two minutes of the first half. He joined Andy Dalton on the sideline as a spectator for the second half. Green was a beast in his sophomore season out of Georgia. He ends the year with 97 catches for 1,350 yards and 11 touchdowns. Cincinnati is the No. 6 seed in the AFC, and they'll open the playoffs on the road next weekend.

The Cincinnati Enquirer's Joe Reedy "highly doubts" both Bernard Scott and Giovani Bernard will make the Bengals' 53-man roster.
In other words, Scott's roster spot is in jeopardy. Bernard obviously isn't going anywhere after being the first running back drafted last weekend. The Bengals re-signed Scott, 29, to a one-year deal last month. Cincinnati will likely keep four running backs: BenJarvus Green-Ellis, Bernard, special teams ace Cedric Peerman, and sixth-round pick Rex Burkhead.
