The Titans do not believe DT Jurrell Casey's Thursday night shoulder injury will cost him any time.
Casey has ten days to get the shoulder right before Tennessee's Week 7 game against Buffalo. A 22-year-old unheralded stud, Casey has been the Titans' best run defender through six games. He has 22 tackles on the season.

Titans DT Jurrell Casey left Thursday night's game against the Steelers with a right shoulder injury and will not return.
Third-round rookie Mike Martin steps into the starting lineup to replace Casey. Casey entered the night with 19 tackles in five games.

Titans selected USC DT Jurrell Casey with the No. 77 overall pick in the 2011 NFL draft.
Casey has boatloads of talent, but like so many USC players, didn't maximize it at the college level. He also showed up out of shape to offseason, pre-draft workouts. On the bright side, Casey's arrow is pointing skyward at age 21, and he was good enough to win the Trojans' defensive MVP award for last year's struggling USC squad. He's still a project for now.

Former 49ers and Cardinals scout Dave Razzano believes USC DT Jurrell Casey is being "completely overlooked" early in the draft.
Razzano labels the Trojans' MVP a "Casey Hampton clone" as a "short and compact" tackle, "very strong and explosive" with "high effort." Casey projected as a potential late-first round pick at the end of the season, but he's been a forgotten man since the Combine.

Jake Locker said his surgically repaired shoulder feels "normal."
Locker isn't taking contact right now, but will "definitely" do so come Day 1 of training camp in late July. The shoulder won't be an excuse as he heads into a make-or-break campaign. The Titans have upgraded their offensive line and have more than enough playmakers at the skill spots. It's on Locker to settle down in the pocket and improve his wayward accuracy.

Titans KR/WR Marc Mariani (compound leg fracture) is "feeling good and feeling healthy," and expects to be ready for training camp.
Mariani's brutal leg break last preseason was the same injury suffered by Louisville's Kevin Ware in the Elite Eight. Mariani is just three years removed from a Pro Bowl campaign as a returner, but won't be guaranteed a roster spot after the Titans signed Kevin Walter and re-upped Darius Reynaud.
