Rams second-round pick Janoris Jenkins was a healthy scratch in Week 10 due to a violation of team rules.
Jenkins donned street clothes on the sideline, along with Chris Givens, another rookie who was suspended for the game for the same reasons. It's believed Jenkins and Givens simply didn't show up to last Tuesday's practice, coming off St. Louis' bye week. Bradley Fletcher for Jenkins, with rookie Trumaine Johnson at nickel back. Danny Amendola replaced Givens at wide receiver.

Rams RCB Janoris Jenkins (back) did not participate in practice on Wednesday.
No injury was disclosed after Sunday's loss to the Dolphins, which is typical with Jeff Fisher-run teams. The second-round rookie and ex-Florida Gator started out red-hot with the rest of the St. Louis pass defense, but Jenkins gave up a head-scratching touchdown in Week 6, where he let Fins WR Marlon Moore run right by him for a 29-yard score. We'll know more on Jenkins' status later this week.

Rams CB Janoris Jenkins is expected to take over as the primary punt returner with Danny Amendola (collarbone) sidelined.
Impressing in coverage as a rookie starter, Jenkins leads the team with nine pass breakups. He had a sterling 21.7 yard average with a school-record three touchdowns on 18 punt returns at North Alabama last season.

The Rams official website confirms second-round CB Janoris Jenkins has a firm grasp on the starting job opposite Cortland Finnegan.
"Janoris Jenkins continues to impress out here," said assistant head coach Dave McGinnis. Jenkins has been one of the most consistent players in camp, regardless of position. The Rams pass defense should be much improved after their turn as fantasy star-makers in 2011.
