Ex-Broncos RB Montee Ball was sentenced to 60 days in jail on Friday in his domestic abuse case.
It's been a far fall for the 2013 second-round pick. Ball was part of the Broncos' final cuts last year, then spent close to two months in the Patriots' organization, but was cut in February after he was arrested following an altercation with his girlfriend. Ball was out on bail when he was found drinking at a bar, violating the terms of his bail. Ball will now serve two consecutive 30-day sentences. His playing career is over at 25 years old.
