Broncos finalized a four-year contract with Gary Kubiak to become their head coach.
It's a homecoming for Kubiak, who played for the Broncos from 1983-91 and was an assistant coach under Mike Shanahan there from 1995-05. Kubiak coached current Broncos boss John Elway during the first four years of that stint. He'll bring the Shanahan offense back to Denver, which means a consistently effective one-cut run scheme (hello, C.J. Anderson) and an "X" receiver that gets peppered with targets (hello, Demaryius Thomas). On Kubiak's watch, the 2014 Ravens set a franchise record in offensive yards per game (364.9), scored roughly a touchdown more per game than they did in 2013 and Justin Forsett came out of nowhere to finish as fantasy's No. 8 RB. Of course, the biggest moving part here is Peyton Manning. Although Kubiak reportedly wasn't interested in Manning three years ago in Houston, we suspect he'll want Peyton over Brock Osweiler this time around -- even if he has to change his scheme a bit.
