ESPN Falcons reporter Vaughn McClure has B.J. Daniels penciled in as the No. 3 running back.
In his initial 53-man roster projection, McClure leaves Terron Ward and rookie Brian Hill off the team in favor of Daniels. That would be a stunning turn of events to rely solely on Daniels, a converted quarterback, as the lone backup to the two-headed duo of Devonta Freeman and Tevin Coleman, especially considering Coleman's injury history. Atlanta would certainly keep one back on the taxi squad. Jul 21 - 12:25 PM
