ESPN's Rich Cimini believes Jets TE Jace Amaro is "entering a make-or-break season."
It is a difficult point to argue. A second-round pick in 2014, Amaro struggled with drops as a rookie before missing all of last season with a torn labrum. The Jets reportedly prioritized upgrading the tight end spot this offseason, but they have yet to make any additions. That could change in the draft, but this is a disappointing class and even elite tight end prospects struggle to make an early impact. After the Jets were forced to essentially play without a tight end last season, Amaro should at least be given the opportunity for a big role. Apr 21 - 8:48 AM
