David Schlemko played just seven minutes through the game's first 65, and was Calgary's eighth shooter during the shootout. But he put on a move for the ages to secure a 4-3 victory over Boston on Thursday night.
Go find a highlight. Schlemko, a lefty, took the puck wide on his backhand, and cut in from the top of the right circle. Instead of finishing on his forehand, Schlemko pivoted, faked like he was going skate backwards, and finished with the one-handed tuck-in as Rask vacated the net. In 26 games with Arizona, Dallas, and now Calgary, he has a goal and four points this season. Mar 6 - 12:01 AM
