Bill Guerin will reportedly interview with the Minnesota Wild for their general manager opening.
Guerin announced his retirement as a player in December of 2010 having won Stanley Cups with both the New Jersey Devils (1995) and Pittsburgh Penguns (2009). In 2011 he moved into a player development role with the Penguins before being hired by general manager Jim Rutherford as the team's assistant general manager in 2014. In that role, he won back-to-back Stanley Cups (2016 & 2017) with the Penguins and was named general manager of Pittsburgh's AHL affiliate, the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins. Considering his long history of winning, the 47-year-old could be an intriguing hire for the Wild who have underachieved in the playoffs so far. May 5 - 3:57 PM
