Sharp scored at 11:22 of the first period on assists from Patrick Kane and Michal Handzus. That they couldn't get any more goals in a 19-shot period proved to be a pivotal time in this game. While the Bruins' game grew after the first period, Chicago seemed to collectively lose some energy. Sharp and Marian Hossa each finished with a game-high seven shots on goal, while Andrew Shaw and Brent Seabrook had a team-high six hits. Coach Joel Quenneville said Hossa is officially day-to-day and is hopeful the veteran winger will be able to suit up for Wednesday's Game 4.
