Rotoworld interns must meet the following criteria:
- Enrolled in a Bachelor's/Masters program at an accredited college or university
- 18 years or older and current sophomore standing or above
- Able to receive academic credit from their college or university prior to starting assignment
- Commit to a minimum of 3 days per week either on a part-time or full-time basis
NBC looks for students who are committed and passionate about a career in the
media/entertainment industry through experiences in their major studies, college
clubs/organizations, prior media based internships, or prior work experience.
Grade point average, community involvement and leadership experience are also an
important part of the total assessment of student applicants.

| ASP/ASP.NET Programmer - Full Time Position |
|
Rotoworld is looking for an ASP/ASP.NET Programmer with a passion for fantasy sports to work in our Stamford, CT office. The primary responsibility will be to provide services for the Sandbox.com fantasy games site, as well as for various Rotoworld.com or NBCSports.com projects, such as the $100,000 Fantasy Challenge. To be considered for this opportunity you must be able to work in Stamford CT (we are an easy walk from the Stamford Metro North Railroad station). This is a great opportunity to work and/or consult in a fun, fast-paced, and sports-centric environment. |
| Overall Role & Responsibilities: |
| Prepare seasonal fantasy games for Sandbox.com, including DB configuration and ASP programming |
| Assist with Customer Service issues related to league setup and/or statistics issues |
| ssist with application development of Rotoworld.com |
| Maintain and enhance NBCSports.com fantasy games |
|
| Applicants are required to know the following technologies: |
| 3+ years experience with Active Server Page Programming |
| 1-3 years experience with ASP.NET (VB.NET preferred) |
| Working knowledge of SQL (MS SQL Server preferred) |
| CSS |
| Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript |
|
| Qualifications: |
| Minimum of 3 years experience developing commercial web applications |
| B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent experience |
| Ability to take ownership of projects and work independently to achieve goals |
| Thorough understanding of software development lifecycle, experience with requirements documents and unit testing. |
