Hull City announced the loan signing of former Sunderland midfielder Alfred N'Diaye late on transfer deadline day.
N'Diaye's loan deal will keep him at the club until the end of the season as they fight to keep they Premier League status. N'Diaye lined out for Sunderland in 2013 for both Martin O'Neill and Paolo Di Canio, however under the latter his stint disintegrated. He was loaned out first to Turkish side Eskisehirspor and later Real Betis, with whom he was relegated to the Liga Adelante. However, he made his deal with Betis permanent and eventually earned a move to Villarreal in La Liga in the summer. This move hasn't gone according to plan so far, with the Senegalese only starting the club's first league game of the season. He has a reputation for his strength and tackling ability and is best suited to a defensive midfield role, however he has experience at centre-back. Feb 1 - 9:09 AM
