Tottenham earned a first win in six games as they bounced back from losing the League Cup final by beating Swansea.
A thrilling game ended 3-2 to Tottenham, but that only tells half the story. Spurs took the lead through Nacer Chadli but that hardly mattered when, minutes later, Swansea's Bafetimbi Gomis collapsed on the pitch and had to be stretchered off. The game restarted and Ki Sung-Yueng equalised for the visitors within 10 minutes after Gylfi Sigurdsson's free kick had hit the post. That was how it stayed until the second half when Spurs turned the screw and scored twice through Ryan Mason and a fine individual goal from Andros Townsend to make it 3-1. The home side were in complete control until Sigurdsson hit a volley with two minutes to go to set up a grandstand finish. Swansea pressed and had one last chance but Hugo Lloris made a world class save in injury time to ensure the game ended 3-2. Mar 4 - 5:09 PM
