ESPN's Mel Kiper gave the Bills the lowest draft grade of any club this season, slapping them with a "C-."
In the world of Kiper draft grades, a "C-" reads more like an "F." The analyst also criticized the Bills' last class because he felt they gave up too much for Sammy Watkins when they could have stayed put and drafted either Mike Evans or Odell Beckham, Jr. That mistake was also factored into this grade, as it cost Buffalo their Round 1 pick. "I thought Ronald Darby was a reach in Round 2 at No. 50. There's a lot of natural ability with him, but I didn't have CB as nearly the biggest need, and I don't think he was the best player available, either," he wrote. "I'm a lot higher on the third-round selection of John Miller, a physical force in the run game." Rotoworld's Evan Silva similarly hated the class, giving it an identical "C-" grade. "Only Miller and Darby can reasonably be expected to make impacts long term," he concluded. Mon, May 4, 2015 11:54:00 PM
