Eagles selected Oregon LT Lane Johnson with the No. 4 overall pick.
Johnson (6-6, 303) has longer arms (35 1/4") than Luke Joeckel and Eric Fisher, and beat both in the forty (4.72), ten-yard split (1.61), and vertical (34") at the Combine, in addition to bench reps (28). Also flashing a mean streak on the field, Johnson is short only on experience. He started 23 games for the Sooners, 12 as a junior right tackle and 11 as a senior on Landry Jones' blind side after playing tight end and defensive end as a sophomore. Johnson allowed two sacks and nine QB knockdowns last year. Johnson arguably possesses more upside than any lineman in this draft. He'll slide in on Michael Vick's blindside in Philly, leaving Jason Peters at left tackle and kicking Todd Herremans inside to guard. Johnson is an absolute perfect fit for Chip Kelly's uptempo offense.

The Baltimore Sun's Mike Preston writes the Ravens are keeping an eye on Oklahoma T Lane Johnson.
"Johnson is athletic, durable and the pro scouts like his demeanor. He plays with the nastiness of a defensive lineman," Preston writes. The Ravens would have to trade up quite far to select Johnson, who is expected to go in the top seven selections at worst.

NFL Network's Mike Mayock says three OT's could go in the top three selections.
Mayock said he expects the Kansas City Chiefs to select Texas A&M's Luke Joeckel, the Jacksonville Jaguars to select Central Michigan's Eric Fisher and potentially the Oakland Raiders selecting Oklahoma's Lane Johnson. Mayock says one other possibility is the Raiders selecting Sharrif Floyd, the defensive tackle out of Florida.

Cardinals beat writer Kent Somers notes the team feels "better about their tackles than outsiders do," and might pass on Oklahoma T Lane Johnson because of it.
Somers chose Alabama guard Chance Warmack, noting "the Cardinals like a guy who can step in and play right away." We think guard is an option at No. 7, but not if one of the three top tackles is available. However, it is doubtful one of the top three players at the position lasts until that selection.
