Ross Fisher signed for a 2-under-par 35-35=70 in a rain-soaked final round of the Wells Fargo Championship to end his week at 4-under 284.
Fisher's best finish of 2013 was a T21 back at Torrey Pines in January until this week's venture at Quail Hollow. His final round featured five birdies to just three bogeys. He will not tee it up in next week's THE PLAYERS, but seems to have found something in his game that will serve him well as soon as he can pick up another tee time.

Ross Fisher comes to the Zurich Classic of New Orleans for the first time having secured paychecks in just half of his 10 starts in 2013.
It’s been a disappointing rookie season for the European Tour veteran, still searching to nab his first top 20. The putter has been the major problem, ranking 179th in strokes gained. It’s not all that uncommon for European regulars to struggle with the quick pace of PGA TOUR greens, as those on their home tour generally run a little slower.

Ross Fisher has been added to the field of this week's Arnold Palmer Invitational.
The PGA TOUR's media department reported this.
Fisher was the fifth alternate when the field was released on Friday afternoon. He gained entry as one of the last four sponsor exemptions. The Englishman's rookie season on the PGA TOUR has lacked a highlight. His only top-35 finish was a T21 at Torrey Pines. In his only previous appearances at Bay Hill, he was disqualified for signing an incorrect scorecard after his second round.

Ross Fisher has been added to the published field of this week's Northern Trust Open.
The Brit was the fourth alternate when the field was released on Friday afternoon, but he climbed into the field on a sponsor exemption. He's survived two of his three cuts thus far but sits a mediocre 105th in FedExCup points. This will be the first time he's teed it up at Riviera.
