Marc Leishman posted a bogey-free, 4-under-par 34-32=66 in his opening round of the Crowne Plaza Invitational at Colonial.
The Aussie continues to shine. He converted on only three of 14 birdie opportunities today, and all three were of some length. He concluded his first nine with a conversion from 32'2" at the 18th hole. After making the turn, he promptly poured in another at 1, this time from 11'7". His third disappeared from 21'10" at the fifth. For good measure, literally, Leishman added a zero-putt birdie from six yards just off the green at seven. He signedf his card sitting one stroke adrift of the clubhouse tri-leaders.

Marc Leishman turned in a 4-under-par 32-34=66 for his opening round of the HP Byron Nelson Championship.
He entered the week as one of the hottest golfers in the world, and he remains on that list tonight. The Aussie hit 16 greens in regulation at TPC Four Seasons today and erased a lone bogey with five birdies, four of which disappearing from outside 10 feet. The gem was a 22'1" conversion at the 14th hole. He also poured in a par save from 10'11" at 5. At the time he signed his card, he was low man of the afternoon wave and sat six strokes off the clubhouse lead.

Marc Leishman signed for an even-par 36-36=72 in the final round of THE PLAYERS, picking up a top 10 at 7-under 281.
Leishman continues his run of solid form that saw him tie for fourth at the Masters and share ninth at the RBC Heritage. It looked like he would be a factor at TPC Sawgrass in the finale, circling birdies on three of his first four holes. It would quickly fall apart with a double bogey on the par-4 fifth when his drive didn't find dry land. He then bogeyed the sixth. His only other action was a birdie at 11 and a bogey at the 18th. He now heads to Texas for the HP Byron Nelson Championship.

Marc Leishman turned in a 1-under-par 33-38=71 in the third round of THE PLAYERS and is positioned for his third top 10 in his last three starts of the season.
The Aussie was paired with Adam Scott in the final round of the Masters, tying for fourth. Leishman then tied for ninth the next week at the RBC Heritage. He started his third round at TPC Sawgrass on fire, finding birdies on three of his first four holes. It was all pars from then until he added his fourth, and final, birdie at the par-5 11th. He immediately dropped shots with bogeys on 12 and 13, before adding a third bogey at the 18th. He enters the finale at 7-under 209.
