Mark Anderson captured his first Web.com Tour win at the BMW Charity Pro-Am with a final-round 6-under-par 32-33=65 at Thornblade Club, finishing five clear of Tom Hoge.
The University of South Carolina product circled seven birdies to a lone bogey in the final round and completed the tournament at 27-under 63-67-64-65=259. He finished the week sixth in driving distance and tied for ninth in GIR, finding the putting surface 60 (of 72) times in regulation. His 28 birdies led the field. He was a 2011 Web.com Tour graduate, but failed to maintain his status on the PGA TOUR. With this victory, he moves to ninth on the money list and stands an excellent chance at picking up a card for the 2013-14 season.

Mark Anderson pulled in front at the BMW Charity Pro-Am on the Web.com Tour with a 7-under-par 33-31=64 in the third round, boosting him to 21-under 194 and one clear of 36-hole leader Franklin Corpening.
Anderson was cruising along with three birdies and one bogey on his first 14 holes at Thornblade Club, then caught fire over the final four holes. He chipped in for eagle on the par-5 15th, and followed with a birdie on the par-5 16th. He then navigated the difficult final two holes with birdies to end his round. A native of South Carolina, he will try and pick up his first Web.com Tour victory in Sunday's final round.

Mark Anderson opened the Web.com Tour's BMW Charity Pro-Am with a bogey-free, 32-31=63 at The Reserve at Lake Keowee, good for a share of the overnight lead in relation to par.
Anderson is back in the minors after a failed rookie season on the PGA TOUR in 2012. He's cashed in three of six starts on the Web.com Tour this year but hasn't recorded a top 30. Today he ripped off an eagle and seven birdies in addition to going 4-for-4 in scrambling.

Mark Anderson shares the lead at the Panama Claro Championship after firing a 6-under-par 29-35=64.
It shouldn't be a big surprise that Anderson finds himself in contention early, as this isn't the first time he's spun a 64 on Panama Golf Club. In 2010, a second-round 64 vaulted him to a T4 finish. He returned in 2011 and tied for 13th. In the eight rounds that consisted of those two tournaments, he was sub-70 in seven. Today's round consisted of eight birdies, including both of the par 5s, to just two bogeys.
