Ken Duke spun a 4-under-par 35-31=66 in the final round of the Travelers Championship to conclude at 10-under 270, currently T11 with play still in progress.
Duke, the 2013 Travelers Champion, began his final frame at 6-under (T34) and eight swings back. On his round, he smothered one bogey (par-3 fifth) with five birdies at Nos. 6, 11, 12, 14 and 18. His set featured three birdie rolls from outside of nine feet, including a dramatic 36'9" sidewinder at the par-4 18th, which brought out the fist pump. For his efforts, Duke piped 12 (of 14) fairways and landed 14 greens in regulation for a 2.055 strokes gained: tee-to-green, currently seventh in that stat on the week. The 46-year-old, 124th in the FedExCup standings, has two top 10s in 21 prior starts on the season, the last (T9) coming at the OHL Classic at Mayakoba in November. Jun 28 - 4:31 PM
