Bryce Molder enters his fourth PLAYERS in search of his first top 10 of the 2013 season.
Molder has secured paychecks in two of his three trips to TPC Sawgrass, but has yet to crack a top 30. The story of his 2013 season is only slightly better, making eight out of 10 cuts but only cracking the top 10 one time. Given his 20th ranking in driving accuracy and a strokes gained-putting clip of second on TOUR, it's easy to think that he would find Pete Dye's jewel to his liking.

Bryce Molder carded a 4-under-par 35-33=68 in his opening round of the Valero Texas Open, finishing one stroke off the clubhouse lead.
Molder's modest consecutive cuts made streak of eight was snapped last week in Houston, but he's in terrific position to begin a new one in San Antonio. He hit just 10 greens in regulation but rolled in six birdies, four of which ranging from 10-16 feet. His longest conversion of the day was a par save from 24'2" at the par-3 13th hole. Despite the limited number of birdie opportunities, he could have gone even lower but he fanned on a 47-inch par putt at 15 and rinsed his approach at the par-5 18th where he'd eventually two-putt for bogey.

Bryce Molder made a move up the leaderboard in the third round of the Tampa Bay Championship with his 3-under-par 33-35=68 to finish the day at 4-under 209.
Molder had it bogey-free, with three birdies, in his opening nine holes. He would then alternate two birdies and two bogeys on his inward nine at the Copperhead Course. Probably the most difficult pill to swallow was the bogey on the par-5 11th, making bogey after laying up to 105 yards in the middle of the fairway. Only two strokes off the clubhouse lead, he will have a chance to put a low round together on Sunday to further contend.

Bryce Molder lit up Pebble Beach for a bogey-free 8-under-par 32-32=64 in the final round of the AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro-Am to finish the week at 10-under 276.
Molder was so far back to start the day that he had to begin on the 10th hole. He wasted little time getting into red figures, knocking in his first birdie on the par-5 14th from 3'1". Irons dialed in, he would follow with a birdie from 16 inches on the par-4 16th. By the time he recorded his seventh birdie of the day on the par-4 fourth, he had rattled off seven birdies in a nine-hole span. He added one more on the difficult eighth and saved par on the ninth. He heads to Riviera CC for the upcoming Northern Trust Open with confidence high.
