Mike Cameron has decided to retire from baseball.
It's an abrupt decision, but not altogether surprising when you think about it. Cameron, 39, was on a minor league deal with the Nats, and with Rick Ankiel and Roger Bernadina also around and Bryce Harper likely to be ready sometime in the first half, the veteran probably didn't see much of an opportunity.
