Adrian Beltre went 1-for-3 with a two-run home run in Saturday's loss to the Indians.
Beltre clubbed a two-run home run off Carlos Carrasco with nobody out in the seventh inning. The game was already a laugher by that point in time, though, and that dinger merely worked to pull the Rangers to within 10-2 on the scoreboard. This season, the veteran third baseman is hitting .288/.344/.408 with five home runs and 29 RBI over the winding course of 240 at-bats. Beltre is still a very capable hitter when healthy, though his body has betrayed him more and more as he's advanced into the twilight years of his career. Jul 22 - 12:48 AM
