Juan Pierre has officially announced his retirement from baseball.
Pierre, 37, didn't play last season but only now has officially decided to hang up his cleats. It was quite a career for the speedster, as Pierre sported a .295/.343/.361 batting line over his 14 seasons while stealing 614 bases. He never made an All-Star team, but Pierre finished in the top-20 in National League MVP voting twice and won a World Series ring with the Marlins in 2003. Fri, Feb 27, 2015 12:48:00 PM
