Michael Cuddyer went 3-for-3 with a run scored and an RBI in a losing effort against the Marlins on Tuesday.
Cuddyer has been a very solid and stable offensive producer for the Rockies thus far, hitting .282 with four homers and 26 RBI on the season. He's also chipped in six steals, which give him added value in fantasy leagues everywhere. The move to Coors Field has worked out well for Cuddyer, and he should continue to contribute across the board for the remainder of 2012.

Michael Cuddyer doubled home two runs in the eighth inning of Sunday's 4-1 win over the Brewers.
Cuddyer's eighth-inning two-bagger off of Francisco Rodriguez provided Colorado with two valuable insurance tallies, and gives him 11 RBI through his first 15 games in the Rockies' purple pinstripes. Batting .345/.368/.636, he's a match made in heaven with the thin air of Coors Field.

Michael Cuddyer (toe) had a pinch-hit go-ahead RBI single in a 4-3 win over the Brewers on Friday night.
Cuddyer didn't start Friday due to a bruised left big, but he delivered when it mattered most in the top of the ninth. He should be back in the lineup Saturday.

Rockies placed INF Hector Gomez on the 15-day disabled list, retroactive to March 26, with a groin strain.
Gomez was diagnosed with a strained right groin in early March and wasn't able to get back on track by the end of spring training. He was a longshot to make the Rockies' 25-man roster anyway and will likely be sent to the Triple-A level once he's healthy.

Chris Nelson (wrist) went 0-for-3 Monday in his first rehab game with Triple-A Colorado Springs.
"I did hear he put two balls in play," Rockies manager Jim Tracy said. "He had two really good swings and put two balls in play very hard. Didn't necessarily get any results from it, but did OK from what I understand for the first day back." Nelson is eligible to return from the disabled list on May 31, and he'll probably be ready then if he doesn't have a setback.

Jhoulys Chacin (shoulder) has yet to resume throwing.
Chacin is still working on building up the strength in his shoulder and won't throw again until he sufficiently does so. The Rockies don't really consider him to be hurt, but there's something going on that's caused his decreased velocity, and the team hopes he'll get it back after some down time.

Updating a previous item, Jorge De La Rosa (elbow) has been formally pulled off his rehab assignment.
He'll get a new 30-day window. De La Rosa wasn't going to be ready for his June 2 return to the majors, and will have to reestablish his health before rejoining the Rockies. The 31-year-old left-hander is on his way back from Tommy John reconstructive elbow surgery.
