Justin Morneau finally hit his third home run of the year Wednesday in the Twins' 7-4 win over the White Sox.
Morneau hadn't gone deep since April 28. He owns a decent .289 batting average in 64 games this season and has been effective with runners in scoring position, but the power has completely vanished. It may be a struggle for him to reach a double-digit home run total.

Justin Morneau hit a two-run double off Cliff Lee in Minnesota's 3-2 loss Thursday.
The Canadian's drive put the Twins ahead 2-1 in the seventh, but Minnesota's bullpen blew the lead in the top of the eighth. Morneau's power has evaporated -- he has just two home runs on the year -- but he's hitting .293 with 36 RBI through 225 at-bats.

Justin Morneau went 3-for-4 with two RBI, including the game-winner, in the Twins' 3-2 win over the Phillies on Tuesday.
After doubling in a run in the fourth inning, Morneau provided what proved to be the game-winning RBI single in the eighth to give the Twins the lead. The power still isn't there -- Morneau has just two home runs on the year -- but the first baseman is now hitting .297 with a .351 on-base percentage and, more importantly, seems completely healthy for the first time in a long time.

Morneau missed the last two days with flu-like symptoms, but was able to return to his customary cleanup spot in the lineup. He has just two home runs on the year and is now batting .250 (3-for-12) over his last seven games.

Hicks is making progress with his strained left hamstring, but it's not clear when he'll be ready to play in games again. It might be a stretch to hope he can return before the end of the month.
