Mets acquired OF Eric Young Jr. from the Rockies in exchange for RHP Collin McHugh.

Niese allowed six hits and four walks, so it wasn't pretty, but he kept his team in the ballgame. However, a two-run single by opposing pitcher Scott Feldman in the fourth inning was enough to put him on the losing side. The southpaw has allowed two earned runs or fewer in each of his last five starts and now owns a 4.15 ERA on the year. He'll face the Braves next week in Atlanta. Jun 15
