Eduardo Nunez went 4-for-4 with a two-run triple, a steal and three total RBI in Thursday's win over the Mets.
Nunez hit a two-run triple as part of a five-run fourth by the Giants. He would add to his RBI total with a run-scoring single one inning later. Since coming over to the National League from the Twins near the end of July, the 29-year-old infielder has struggled to acclimate. He entered Thursday's contest hitting just .200/.294/.367 in 60 at-bats. That was boosted to .250/.333/.438 after his four-hit showing. Hitting prowess aside, Nunez has swiped 30 bases between the Twins and Giants. Aug 19 - 2:10 AM
