John Jaso went 2-for-7 with a walk and two runs scored Thursday against the Yankees.
Jaso isn't the best fantasy player -- he has very little power and no speed -- but he's given Oakland everything they could have hoped for in 2013. The veteran catcher is batting .280/.369/.350 over 157 at-bats.

John Jaso's right leg is still bothering him a bit, but he could return to the lineup as soon as Tuesday.
He'll be available off the bench Monday. Jaso has been sore since being hit by a pitch last Wednesday, but the malady isn't a big concern.

John Jaso (leg) indicated Friday that his right leg is still sore, making him unlikely to be available for Friday night's game against the Royals.
Jaso was hit in the leg by a pitch during Wednesday's game and said that it still hurt running to his mailbox. Derek Norris is will continue to handle the catching duties while Jaso is sidelined.

John Jaso came off the bench to hit a three-run homer Tuesday versus the Angels.
The homer was Jaso's first in an A's uniform. He's now 7-for-19 this season, while backup Derek Norris is 4-for-12. Combined, the A's catchers have hit .355 with seven RBI in 31 at-bats.

Anderson is still working his way back from a stress fracture in his right foot and will be forced to remain in a walking boot for at least another four weeks. The Athletics have transferred him to the 60-day disabled list and he won't be reevaluated until after the All-Star break.

Rodriguez will miss the entire 2013 season. The 28-year-old had a 5.37 and 78/34 K/BB ratio over 70 1/3 innings last season with the Astros and was acquired in February's Jed Lowrie deal.
