Daniel Murphy went 1-for-3 with two intentional walks, two stolen bases, and a run scored in the Nationals' Game 5 loss to the Dodgers on Thursday.
Murphy was a thorn in the Dodgers' side for the entire series, but they finally got him when it mattered most. With two on and one out in the bottom of the ninth inning, Dodgers manager Dave Roberts called on his ace Clayton Kershaw to face Murphy and he got him to pop up to second base for the second out of the frame. Kershaw would then strike out Wilmer Difo to finish off the Nats. Murphy hit .438/.545/.438 during the series. Oct 14 - 1:02 AM
