Craig Kimbrel is 10-for-11 in save conversions this year and has posted a 15.8 K/9 ratio.
Kimbrel struck out two Cubs in a save Tuesday, putting him even closer to Kenley Jensen's record 16.1 K/9 rate, set last season. Even more ludicrous? Kimbrel's career K/9, over three seasons, is 15.4. He's fantasy's best closer. Frankly, there isn't much debate. And with all the closer turnover we've had this season -- 15 changes since January 20, according to ESPN's Tristan Cockcroft -- Kimbrel has easily justified whatever exorbitant price needed to acquire his services on draft night.

Craig Kimbrel finally got his first save chance of the season against the Astros on Friday and was able to convert despite some early trouble.
Kimbrel allowed the first two hitters to reach base before inducing a double play ground ball from Chris Johnson. He then retired Chris Snyder on a weak bounce-out. Kimbrel remains one of the top closers in the game and should post strong numbers across the board in 2012.

Still dominant, Kimbrel has allowed just one hit in eight scoreless innings this spring. He has walked five, but that's par for the course.

That gives the 23-year-old seven K's in six scoreless innings this spring. He also has yielded one hit and five walks. Kimbrel looks ready to duplicate, or even build upon, last season's eye-popping numbers.

Braves placed RHP Arodys Vizcaino on the 15-day disabled list, retroactive to March 26, with a torn ulnar collateral ligament in his right elbow.
It's a procedural move, as Vizcaino underwent Tommy John surgery earlier this month. The hard-throwing right-hander will hope to make it back for the start of 2013.

Braves placed LHP Robert Fish on the 15-day disabled list, retroactive to March 26, with left elbow tendinitis.
Fish made three appearances this spring before being shut down due to soreness. The 24-year-old left-hander was selected from the Angels in December's Rule 5 Draft, but the Braves get to keep him around as long as he's on the disabled list.
