Brad Boxberger was hammered for four earned runs, four hits and a walk while retiring just two batters in a loss Sunday against the Mets.
Boxberger entered the game with a 3-1 lead but he served up homers to Brandon Nimmo and Asdrubal Cabrera back-to-back in the ninth inning to turn a home win into a loss. He slipped to 1-3, blowing his third save in 19 opportunities. His ERA has increased from 1.77 to 3.91, so he could be skating on a little bit of thin ice here. Boxberger has coughed up seven earned runs in just 5 1/3 June innings. Jun 17 - 11:15 PM
