Trent Oeltjen has retired from baseball.
Oeltjen, 32 at the end of February, spent parts of three seasons in the major leagues, one with the Diamondbacks and two with the Dodgers. He compiled a .220/.299/.384 line over 194 plate appearances. Oeltjen originally signed with the Twins in 2001.
