Brad Peacock gave up three runs in a two-inning save Friday against the White Sox.
It was his second save of the season. Peacock retired the side in order in the eighth and came back to the mound with an 11-1 advantage in the ninth before running into some trouble on back-to-back homers from Avisail Garcia and Daniel Palka. He got Matt Davidson to fly out for the final out of the night. You don’t see save chances like this one very often, but fantasy owners won’t complain. Peacock has been excellent out of Houston’s bullpen this season, posting a 2.84 ERA and 53/9 K/BB ratio over 38 innings. Jul 7 - 1:19 AM
