Brad Brach suffered a blown save amidst a meltdown Thursday, allowing three runs while recording one out against the Blue Jays.
Pitching for his third day in a row -- already a red flag -- Brach got a quick out from Kendrys Morales before a walk and a double spelled trouble. Randal Grichuk then smacked an opposite-field, two-run double to sound the alarm, and a walk followed by a Kevin Pillar RBI single was all she wrote for the right-hander. Brach has been serviceable in the absence of closer Zach Britton, converting 10 of 12 save opportunities, but his 4.24 ERA and 1.76 WHIP will make it easy for the O's to install Britton back into the ninth inning when he's ready, tanking Brach's fantasy value.
