David Dahl, on the minor league DL with back spasms, says he doesn't expect to resume swinging a bat until December.
According to our math, that would put him out for the season. Dahl, who went down in the spring with a stress reaction in a rib, played in just 19 games this year, all in the minors. He was expected to be the Rockies' left fielder this year, but after the completely lost season, he probably won't be promised anything next spring. Sep 2 - 8:26 PM
