Astros manager A.J. Hinch said Sunday that the team still doesn't have a rehab plan for Carlos Correa (back).
The hope had been that Correa would be ready to begin a rehab assignment over the All-Star break, but that's not going to happen. "He's not doing anything aggressively on the field that would warrant a plan in place to send him out [on rehab]," Hinch said. Of the possibility that Correa could return sometime during the club's July 20-25 road trip, the manager said, "I certainly can’t rule him in. I’m not going to rule him out." It's obviously not an encouraging update on the status of Correa, whose game readiness keeps getting pushed back. He's been sidelined since late June with lower back soreness. Jul 15 - 1:07 PM
