Cubs outfield prospect Albert Almora went 3-for-4 with a double and a home run for Double-A Tennessee on Saturday.
Almora is hitting just .252/.272/.378 with six doubles, one triple, and two home runs over 28 games in the Double-A Southern League. He was the sixth overall pick in the 2012 draft and is just 20 years old, making the fact that he is not being embarrassed in Double-A impressive. He uses an aggressive, high-contact approach where walks are relatively rare, so he will have to hit for a high average in order to reach his potential. Aug 24 - 10:12 AM
