Astros prospect third baseman Colin Moran went 2-for-4 with a double and a sacrifice fly for Double-A Corpus Christi on Friday.
Moran has hit better in Double-A (.304/.359/.449) than he did in High-A (.294/.342/.393), which has made the Astros look quite smart. He was the sixth overall pick in the 2013 draft, and could make his major league debut as soon as mid-2015. Moran projects as a .300 hitter with 30-plus doubles, and his future role will be determined by his play and the play of fellow Astros third base prospect Rio Ruiz. Sat, Aug 23, 2014 11:08:00 AM
