Mariners 3B prospect D.J. Peterson finished a triple shy of the cycle Monday in a win for Double-A Jackson.
He's hit .500 with four RBI during his four-game hitting streak. Peterson has upped his average from .213 to .242 over that span. The 24-year-old smacked 31 homers in 2014 but came crashing back to Earth with only seven in 2015. The former first-round pick is a .269 career hitter in the minor leagues. May 24 - 3:06 PM
