Robbie Ray was terrific in his 2015 debut, limiting the Rockies to one run over six innings to pick up the win in the nightcap of Wednesday's double-header.
Ray was called up from Triple-A Reno and occupied the 26th spot on the roster as a result of Wednesday's double-header, taking the place of the injured Archie Bradley. The Rockies couldn't get much going against him, scratching out five hits and no walks while striking out five times. Their only run came in the bottom of the fourth when Michael McKenry hit an RBI double to tie the game at 1-1. If the D'Backs need Ray to start again, he'll be on schedule to do so on Monday at home against the Nationals. May 6 - 10:05 PM
