Mariners OF prospect Alex Jackson contributed a career-high four RBI as part of a three-hit night Thursday in Low-A Clinton's loss to Kane County.
He finished 3-for-5 with a home run and two singles. Jackson got off to a very poor start this year but is starting to show signs of life. He's hit .450 during his five-game hitting streak while raising his average from .138 to .200. The 2014 first-round pick hit just .207 last year between Clinton and Short-Season Everett. It might take a while for him to unlock his true potentia,l but the Mariners can afford to be patient with the 20-year-old outfielder. Jun 17 - 12:05 PM
