Brewers prospect OF Monte Harrison was 2-for-4 with two stolen bases Sunday for the team's Rookie-level affiliate in the Arizona League.
He also scored a run and struck out once in the game. Before signing with Brewers for $1.1003 million following his selection with the No. 50 overall pick in this year's draft, Harrison was viewed as arguably the top two-sport talent in the class given his football scholarship to Nebraska. Since beginning his professional career, the 19-year-old outfielder has batted .271/.426/.354 with two extra-base hits, eight stolen bases and a 17-10 strikeout-to-walk ratio through 13 games. Harrison will require substantial time to develop in the minor leagues, but his upside is through the roof and should be well worth the wait. Mon, Jul 7, 2014 11:44:00 AM
