Justin Anderson recorded his fourth save of the season on Sunday, working a scoreless ninth inning to protect a one-run advantage against the Dodgers.
Angels' closer Blake Parker was unavailable after working three of the previous four days, so it was Anderson who got the call in the ninth inning. He allowed a one-out single to Matt Kemp, but got Cody Bellinger to hit into a game-ending double play to avoid any damage. He's still not considered a threat to steal the closer's gig away from Parker, especially with a 1.55 WHIP on the season. Jul 8 - 10:56 PM
