The Coca-Cola 600 at Charlotte (N.C.) Motor Speedway will mark Danica Patrick’s 22nd career NASCAR Sprint Cup Series start and her second at Charlotte.
She started 40th and finished 30th in May 2012 at the 1.5-mile oval. Patrick competed in three NASCAR Nationwide Series races at Charlotte and scored two top-15 finishes. Last week, she started seventh and finished ninth in the non-points Sprint Showdown. Patrick then won the Sprint Fan Vote, which made her eligible for the Sprint All-Star Race. She started 22nd and finished 20th in the 90-lap exhibition race.-True Speed Communication

Twenty-two drivers are already locked in the 90-lap Sprint All-Star race by virtue of either a Sprint Cup race win in 2012 or 2013, an All-Star Race win or a Sprint Cup championship in the last decade.
Danica Patrick does not meet those requirements but has two other ways she can lock herself and the GoDaddy Cares Chevrolet team into the Sprint All-Star Race. She can finish first or second in the 40-lap Sprint Showdown, which takes place right before the Sprint All-Star Race, or win the Sprint Fan Vote. Fans can vote for Patrick until 5 p.m. EDT Saturday at NASCAR.com or on the NASCAR Mobile ’13 app, where votes count twice.-True Speed Communication

For the third time in her NASCAR career and second in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series, "The Lady in Green," Danica Patrick, driver of the green No.10 GoDaddy.com Chevrolet SS will meet "The Lady in Black," when she competes in Saturday night’s Southern 500 Sprint Cup race at Darlington.
She made her NASCAR debut at Darlington last year in the Nationwide Series by starting 15th and finishing and impressive 12th. One night later, she made just her second Sprint Cup start ever and finished 31st. She completed 513 of 519 laps in her first weekend at "The Lady in Black,"and did so without being in an accident – also a tough feat for a rookie, much less a seasoned veteran.-True Speed Communication

Sprint Cup regular Danica Patrick runs quickest Nationwide Series qualifying lap of the go-or-go-homer drivers.
Of the teams required to make the field on speed, her lap of 175.877 mph in the No. 34 Chevrolet Camaro was the fastest. The qualifying speed puts her fourth in the lineup for the Nationwide Series Aaron’s 312 at Talladega Superspeedway.
