Luol Deng (wrist) is still undecided on offseason surgery.
"I still don't know if I'll need surgery," he said. "It will depend on how my wrist feels in the next few weeks." Deng reiterated that he plans to play in the Olympics, and the possibility remains that he'll be sidelined to begin next season.

Luol Deng will meet with the Bulls to discuss how he'll treat his wrist injury in the offseason.
Deng plans to play in the Olympics for Great Britain, and if he undergoes surgery afterward, Deng would likely be sidelined until December. "We've got to sit down in the next week and get a real feel for where it's at, the priority being Luol's health, for him and for us," Gar Forman said. There's a real possibility the Bulls begin next season without both Derrick Rose and Deng in the starting lineup.

If Luol Deng has wrist surgery after the Olympics, he "probably" won't be back until December, according to NBA.com's Sam Smith.
England gave Deng's family shelter from the war in his native Sudan, so he has been adamant that he will play for them in the London games. The problem is that by delaying his surgery, he's putting himself in danger of missing at least a month of the 2012-13 season.

Luol Deng left briefly due to a cut on his face in Thursday's Game 6 loss, but returned and finished with 19 points on 8-of-16 shooting, 17 rebounds, three assists, two steals, and two blocks in the Bulls' elimination loss to the Sixers on Thursday.
Deng battled through multiple injuries throughout the year, and became the poster boy for Tom Thibodeau's 'play at all costs' list of walking wounded. He was not on the court during the game's crucial play, perhaps because he had logged 42 minutes, and his replacement Ronnie Brewer joined C.J. Watson in watching Andre Iguodala streak down the court to secure the win in the game's final moments.

Derrick Rose's doctor said he believes Derrick Rose's recovery from ACL surgery will take between eight and 12 months.
If Rose gets back at exactly the eight-month mark, he'll miss the first 10 weeks of the 2012-13 season. If he ends up needing the entire 12 months, he'd be targeting a return during the playoffs. Somewhere in the middle seems logical, but we won't know until we see how Rose responds to rehab. Rose's doctor added that the 2010-11 MVP "should" return to his old form, but it's not "guaranteed." He also said that a late-January return is a best-case scenario.

Taj Gibson (ankle) will play in Thursday's Game 6 against the Sixers.
There was never much of a doubt here as Gibson was able to finish out Game 5 without a problem. He's participating in the morning shootaround and will be a key piece of the Bulls' bench Thursday night. Gibson is averaging 8.6 points, 6.8 rebounds and 1.6 blocks through the first five games of the series.

Joakim Noah will work with Kareem Abdul-Jabbar in the offseason.
Noah will work with Abdul-Jabbar to improve his attack at both ends of the floor, and it's nice to see him using his offseason in productive fashion. He's going to have to play an important role for the Bulls next season with the possibility that Derrick Rose (knee) and Luol Deng (wrist) won't be ready to begin the year. Noah averaged 10.2 points, 9.8 rebounds and 1.4 blocks this season.
