Marvin Williams has not decided whether or not to pick up his player option for next season.
Williams would be forfeiting $7.5 million if he declined it to become an unrestricted free agent, and it's not a guarantee he'd be able to land anything more than a one-year deal. He's still best remembered as the guy who was picked ahead of Deron Williams and Chris Paul in 2005.

Marvin Williams (illness) was back in the Jazz's rotation Friday night.
Williams played 16 minutes, scoring four points to go along with three rebounds and two assists. In his current role, he has no value.

Marvin Williams (illness) was able to return to practice on Thursday.
Williams was sent home on Tuesday with the flu, but he's feeling better and should be ready to play on Friday against the Timberwolves.

Marvin Williams has been sent home with the flu, meaning he will not play on Tuesday.
He was doubtful, then in, and then out once his stomach flu acted up again. With Alec Burks also out, Gordon Hayward and Randy Foye, along with Mo Williams, should all put up some decent stats.

Sidelined
Enes Kanter's (shoulder) agent says his client is ahead of schedule in his rehab but might not be cleared for basketball activities until August.
Kanter dislocated his non-shooting shoulder on March 27 and had surgery in Chicago a couple weeks later. Truth be told, this isn't that big of a deal. Even if Kanter can't get back on a court until August, he'll still have at least a month to rehab and get into shape before training camp opens. The only drawback is Kanter won't be able to play with the Jazz' summer league team, which Kanter's agent says was unlikely in the first place.
