Impending unrestricted free agent Shannon Brown said he would like to stay in Phoenix on a multi-year deal.
The Suns' offseason will be based around the decision of fellow impending free agent Steve Nash. But either way, Brown has done enough to earn a multi-year deal. The wildly athletic swingman is entering his prime at age 26 and has averaged 15.8 points per game as a starter this season. His 3-point shooting ability makes him someone fantasy owners should be watching in free agency.

Shannon Brown scored a team-high 28 points on Saturday, making six 3-pointers, but he shot just 10-of-24 overall as the Suns lost a critical game at home to the Nuggets.
Brown added six rebounds, three steals and two blocks, but the Suns collapsed defensively and may have put themselves at the mercy of the Jazz. Keep in mind that Brown scored single-digit points in three of the previous four games, and Grant Hill (knee) could return on Tuesday.

Shannon Brown started for injured Grant Hill (knee) and scored eight points on 4-of-12 shooting (no threes) with two rebounds, two assists, and four steals in 31 minutes on Thursday against the Clippers.
Brown's night gets saved by the four steals, but he has stopped being productive on the whole with Hill out of action. He'll be a risky play going forward even if Hill continues to miss time.

Shannon Brown scored 16 points with Grant Hill (knee) out on Monday, hitting 7-of-10 shots (including two threes) with four rebounds, three assists, and one steal in 30 minutes.
Brown was mostly consistent with Hill out of the lineup, and he consistently fumbled once Hill was back in the fold. Plan accordingly.

He should be ready to go by the start of next season, and will look to bounce back from a year highlighted by inconsistency.

Suns president Lon Babby said Grant Hill's return to the Suns will have more to do with his knee injury than free agency.
It's quite possible that Hill's latest knee injury/surgery could be a career-ender. Hill has said he wants to return to play next season and it could happen with the Suns, but only if his knee is healthy enough for him to squeeze an 18th season out of his body.
