The Nuggets view Wilson Chandler as a key part of their future.
"Wilson has already proven that he's a 25-minute (per game) player in the NBA, and he's probably trying to prove that he's a 35-minute player," George Karl said. Karl is hoping that the Nuggets can play Chandler at small forward with Danilo Gallinari at power forward sometimes, which could really create matchup problems on the perimeter for the opposition. Chandler had hip surgery at the beginning of May and is facing a 4-5 month rehab process. May 15 - 9:22 AM
