Noah Vonleh produced his third straight summer league double-double on Tuesday, tallying 10 points, 10 boards, three assists, one steal, one 3-pointer, two blocks and one turnover in 36 minutes.
Vonleh briefly exited the game with a left gluteus contusion, but he played through it, which suggests this will be a non-issue moving forward. Despite starting 56 games for Portland last season, Vonleh only managed to contribute meager averages of 3.6 points and 3.9 rebounds per game. He’s been solid at summer league, but once the regular season begins he'll be competing for minutes with Al-Farouq Aminu, Moe Harkless and Meyers Leonard, which is obviously far from ideal.
